![]() So we disabled that in 3.3.x and created a work-around in the upcoming 4.0 release.Īnd, yes, without OpenGL canvas acceleration, performance isn't great. Somehow, Apple's OpenGL drivers hang Krita when there's an AMD GPU and Krita has to save to a single-layer file format. The problem isn't high Sierra, it's the AMD GPU. (I still need the mac version because I break my Linux distros very easily ¯_(ツ)_/¯) I am pretty well versed with how my mac runs, and am willing to do anything drastic to fix this problem because it just works SO WELL in the linux side. ![]() I read somewhere to turn on, and then turn off the Canvas Graphics Acceleration, but it is grayed out because of saving files as pngs and jpgs? I instead went with an external program called Hej stylus running in "basic mode" with the position pull set at a low enough number to kinda fix the jitters, but it is still noticeable. I tried all built-in tool smoothing options in Krita, but the only way to smooth the jitters was by setting the distance to extreme numbers. The problem is that when I draw with any brush, though most apparent using pixel-based brushes like the "ink_circle", it jitters when making strokes. I am running a maxed out factory default Mac Pro Tower Mid-2010 model (only thing changed was an added SSD and the AMD Radeon 7950) dualbooting macOS High Sierra 10.13.1 and Debian Linux 9 stretch, though the problem is in the mac version. ![]() This is my first ever subreddit post of any kind, so please let me know if there is something I am doing wrong. ![]()
